Mac Jacob
Mac was a key contributor to building one of the world’s top 10 supply chains in his 36 years at Procter & Gamble (P&G), someone who can simplify complex issues, and is adept at explaining planning systems in clear, simple and actionable ways to broad audiences ranging from Senior Product Supply leadership to End Users. He consistently led development and implementation of P&G’s most complex new planning solutions, was recognized for being an exceptional team player, and developed capability by teaching others.
Mac was a member of the End to End team that re-engineered P&G’s global planning processes, resulting in improved productivity for all P&G supply network services. On P&G’s SAP implementation team, he led the manufacturing evaluation of SAP software, the Oliver Wight MRP II assessment, and became an Oliver Wight certified MRP II instructor. As Group Director of Global Supply Network Operations, he led implementation teams for four different optimized supply chain planning systems, most recently one that implemented 35 global manufacturing sites in three years.
Over his career, he was the business leader and developed the original business processes and training materials for most of P&G’s supply chain planning systems.
Since retirement from P&G in 2014, Mac has remained active in supply chain planning – applying his extensive experience and knowledge to implementation projects and documentation.
Mac is certified by APICS in Production and Inventory Management, CPIM, and has the SCOR-P endorsement.
