Mark Ernster
Mark has a 30 year track record of consistently delivering breakthrough results, across multiple categories and countries.
With the bulk of his career spent with Procter & Gamble, Mark created a global network to reduce outbound logistics cost and build regional capabilities to not only make improvements, but do so in a sustainable way. He did so by using an internally developed Distribution Centre Benchmarking Tool, Work Process Improvement and a Finished Logistics Cost Key Element Assessment. His efforts delivered over $300 million on savings over 5 years.
He led the transformation of the North American Pet Care supply network, cutting expenses by $65 million (35%) and finished product inventory by $20 million (60%), all while improving customer service (case fill and timeliness) to 99.5%.
Mark created the Guaranteed Delivery program for new item introductions first used in the national launch of Fat Free Pringles, followed by the expansion of Iams/Eukanubapet care brands to Food/Drug/Mass. In 2009 he received the P&G Magnus Award for Supply Chain Mastery, Lifetime Achievement/Results and Sustained Excellence.
